UTDiscovery Capstone Project - Data Science [2021–Present]
As Faculty Director of the UTDiscovery Capstone Program at The University of Texas at Dallas, I oversee the academic and strategic direction of the undergraduate Data Science capstone experience. I work closely with industry and nonprofit partners to develop meaningful, real-world projects that align with student learning outcomes and workforce needs. My role involves guiding students through the full project lifecycle, from scoping and analysis to final delivery, while fostering mentorship and collaboration with external sponsors and faculty advisors. I also serve as the primary liaison between the university and the broader community, helping to strengthen partnerships and promote experiential learning opportunities that showcase student talent and impact.
