Bio
James Harrington, PhD, is an Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education and Associate Professor in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Science at the University of Texas at Dallas. He also serves as Program Head. His work focuses on policy and program evaluation, technology policy, performance management, and education governance, with an emphasis on applied research and workforce readiness. His research has been published in leading journals such as Education Evaluation and Policy Analysis, Journal of Higher Education, and Research in Higher Education, and has received recognition including a Kauffman Foundation Best Paper Prize. He specializes in multilevel evaluation and research design, teaches graduate courses in program evaluation, and collaborates with local governments and nonprofits on applied policy and evaluation projects across the Dallas region.
