Research Areas
My research program focuses on the development, refinement, and evaluation of behavioral interventions for sleep disturbance, PTSD, and chronic pain. I am particularly interested in interventions targeting integrated approaches that address the substantial comorbidity among these conditions. My work seeks to identify and target shared and modifiable mechanisms that contribute to the persistence and interaction of sleep, trauma, and pain symptoms, with the goal of developing scalable, evidence-based interventions that improve clinical outcomes. A particular emphasis of my research is the development and evaluation of interventions tailored to the unique needs of active duty military personnel and veterans.Appointments
