Dr. Girgis Obaid's lab integrates nanotechnology, immunoengineering and light-activated “photodynamic” therapy to develop new ways to treat stubborn pancreas cancer and cancers of the head and neck. Dr. Obaid's research is supported by the NIH, NSF and CPRIT.
