With a background in both major Hollywood films and AAA gaming, Bryon Caldwell uses his industry experience to help the next generation of artists navigate the fast-moving world of animation and games.His professional background is defined by a career at the highest levels of global visual effects. Bryon served as a Senior Animator at Industrial Light & Magic and Framestore, contributing to cinematic milestones including the Academy Award-winning Gravity, Ready Player One, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and Paddington. His filmography spans major studios such as Sony Pictures Imageworks, MPC, and ImageMovers Digital, with credits on high-profile features like Green Lantern, Edge of Tomorrow, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and Disney’s A Christmas Carol.
In the realm of AAA gaming and interactive media, Bryon’s expertise in character performance has been utilized by leading developers. He recently served as a Senior Cinematic Animator at id Software for DOOM: The Dark Ages. His portfolio also includes work with Telltale Games on the Sam & Max series and Riot Games on League of Legends, as well as roles at Agora Studio, most notably working on Star Wars: Visions Season 2 ("SITH").
Deeply rooted in the Texas creative community, Bryon balances international studio experience with significant contributions to the local industry. He has held senior animation roles at prominent Texas-based studios, including Reel FX—where he worked on the animated feature Rock Dog and various commercials and IP—Brazen Animation, and Cloud 10 Studios.
