Jindal Students Fly Past Competition at Google Marketing Challenge In an international competition that had both undergraduate and graduate students fighting for internet advertising clicks, a team from the Naveen Jindal School of Management has placed second among almost 700 groups in North America and 12th globally.
During the annual Google Online Marketing Challenge, the handpicked squad ran a three-week, $250 campaign for theAmerican Birding Association in April, a prime bird-migration time when avid birders would likely be doing internet searches, said Alexander Edsel, senior lecturer in the Jindal School who oversaw the team.
Grad Degree Addresses New Marketing Challenges
The UT Dallas School of Management is launching a master’s program to address the demand for marketing professionals prepared for a rapidly evolving, data-focused, global business environment.

The Master of Science in Marketing program will begin in fall 2011. The new program addresses the industry's need for graduates who have completed more marketing courses than graduates enrolled in the current graduate marketing degree option – an MBA with a marketing concentration.
